Nagaland Health Protection Society Calls for Ayushman Card Holders to Link Aadhaar by Nov 30

The Nagaland Health Protection Society has asked all Ayushman Bharat beneficiaries in the state to link their cards with Aadhaar by 30 November, warning that non‑compliance could affect their entitlement.
The Nagaland Health Protection Society (NHPS) issued a notice urging every Ayushman Bharat card holder in Nagaland to link the health insurance card with their Aadhaar number before 30 November. The directive comes as part of a nationwide effort to streamline beneficiary data and prevent duplication of claims.
NHPS explained that Aadhaar linkage enables faster verification of eligibility, smoother claim settlement and better monitoring of scheme utilisation. The society also highlighted that the central government has made Aadhaar linkage a prerequisite for continued access to Ayushman benefits.
Beneficiaries can complete the linkage through the official Ayushman Bharat portal, via a short‑code SMS, or by visiting designated health centres where staff will assist with the process. The society has asked card‑holders to keep their Aadhaar details handy to avoid delays.
The notice warned that failure to link Aadhaar by the stipulated deadline may result in temporary suspension of claim processing for the affected individuals, urging prompt action to avoid disruption of medical coverage.
