The Nagaland government has announced the drafting of an electronic roll for the SIR recruitment drive, warning that almost 1.6 lakh applicants could miss the first list if they do not complete the process on time.

The Nagaland government today announced that the electronic roll (e-roll) for the SIR recruitment drive has been drafted. Officials said that the e-roll will be finalized and published shortly, and that candidates who fail to submit their details on time may not appear in the first list. Nearly 1.60 lakh applicants are at risk of missing the initial cut‑off if they do not comply with the deadline.

The SIR recruitment is part of the state’s efforts to fill vacancies in various government departments. Candidates were advised to verify their information and complete the required formalities through the official portal before the e-roll is released.

Officials urged applicants to act promptly and highlighted that the first list will determine the shortlist for the next stage of the selection process. Those who miss the first list will have to wait for subsequent rounds, which could delay their appointment.

The government has set up a helpline and an online chat support to assist candidates with queries regarding the e-roll and the application process.
