The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a weather alert for Mumbai, urging residents to check the latest forecast as rain is expected to bring relief to nearby Pune and Lonavala.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has released a weather alert for the Mumbai region, highlighting the possibility of rainfall today. Residents are advised to monitor the forecast closely and take necessary precautions.
While Mumbai faces uncertain weather, the surrounding areas of Pune and Lonavala are expected to receive showers that could offer much-needed respite from the heat. The IMD’s latest bulletin indicates that precipitation in these districts may help lower temperatures.
Local authorities have urged people to stay indoors during heavy rain and to keep an eye on official updates. The alert remains in effect until further notice, as meteorologists continue to track the movement of the weather system across the western coast.
For detailed information, citizens can consult the IMD website or follow trusted news outlets that provide real‑time weather updates.
