According to the Mumbai Crime Branch, the actor was not the intended victim; the gunmen altered their plan after encountering heightened security.
The Mumbai Crime Branch has clarified that Bollywood star Tiger Shroff was not the original intended target of a recent shooting incident. Officials said that the assailants initially aimed at a different individual but changed their focus when they encountered robust security measures around the actor.
Investigators noted that the presence of tight security personnel and protective protocols forced the gunmen to reassess their plan, leading them to shift their attention to Shroff. The branch emphasized that the change was a reaction to the heightened vigilance rather than a pre‑planned attempt on the actor’s life.
The police are continuing their probe to identify the original target and the motives behind the attack. No injuries were reported, and authorities have urged the public to remain calm while the investigation proceeds.
