Municipal official Tukaram Mundhe has taken strict action against a local momo shop in Mumbai, ordering its immediate closure. The decision was made after inspections revealed significant hygiene violations at the establishment.
The incident has drawn public attention due to the shop's association with the former driver of Bollywood stars Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha. While the actors themselves are not involved in the business, the connection to their former staff has placed the shop under a spotlight.
The municipal authority cited non-compliance with food safety and sanitation standards as the primary reason for the shutdown. Officials emphasized that such measures are necessary to ensure public health and safety in the city.
