Mulund Police announced a major operation that dismantled a cyber fraud gang operating in the Mumbai suburb, uncovering 255 fraudulent cases linked to the group.
Authorities seized digital evidence, including forged documents and fraudulent transaction records, and identified the gang’s operational structure. The investigation revealed that the syndicate targeted both individuals and corporate victims across the region.
Six suspects, including the alleged ringleader, were taken into custody and are currently under investigation. The police are cooperating with cybercrime units from the Mumbai Police and the Central Bureau of Investigation to pursue further leads.
