In Umaria district's Pali tehsil, a land demarcation process turned violent. An individual allegedly assaulted and held a Patwari (land surveyor) captive following a dispute.

A land surveyor was allegedly assaulted and held captive during a demarcation dispute in Bakeli village, located in the Pali tehsil of Umaria district, Madhya Pradesh.

The incident occurred when a disagreement arose during the process of surveying land boundaries. The complainant, a Patwari, reported that an individual resorted to physical violence and confined him.

Following the alleged assault and unlawful confinement, the victim lodged a complaint with the Pali police station. Authorities have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the matter.
