MP DGP steps in after JKSA reports harassment of pharmacy students in Bhopal

The Madhya Pradesh Director General of Police has taken action after the Jharkhand Students Association raised concerns about alleged harassment of pharmacy students in Bhopal.
The Jharkhand Students Association (JKSA) lodged a complaint alleging that pharmacy students in Bhopal were facing harassment on campus. The association said the incidents were affecting the students' academic environment and personal safety.
Following the complaint, the Madhya Pradesh Director General of Police (DGP) intervened directly, ordering a prompt inquiry into the matter. Senior police officials were instructed to visit the concerned colleges, collect statements from students and faculty, and identify any perpetrators.
Police spokespersons assured that the investigation would be thorough and that any individuals found responsible would face legal action. The DGP also directed that additional security measures be put in place at the institutions to prevent further incidents.
