MP Cracks Down On Adulterated Ghee

In a significant crackdown on food adulteration, the Madhya Pradesh government has conducted a thorough examination of ghee and dairy products across the state. Between July 20 and August 10, a total of 2234 samples were tested, out of which 73 failed to meet the required standards. The majority of these substandard samples were found in major cities like Bhopal and Indore. The discovery of unsafe ghee in these cities has raised concerns about public health and the need for stricter quality control measures. The state government has taken immediate action, suspending three officials for their negligence in allowing such adulteration to occur.
