MP: 22 Women Hostels Misused

The Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India has exposed the poor condition of women hostels in Madhya Pradesh. The report states that out of 59 hostels, only 13 are functional. The remaining hostels are either non-operational or being used for other purposes. The CAG report has raised serious concerns about the management and utilization of these hostels. The government had established these hostels to provide safe and secure accommodation to working women. However, the report suggests that the government has failed to ensure the proper use of these facilities.
