Mother Pangolin and Newborn Rescued, Tiger Bones Seized, Six Arrested

Authorities rescued a mother pangolin and her newborn, seized tiger bones and detained six suspects in connection with wildlife trafficking.
Acting on a tip-off, forest and police officials conducted a raid that led to the rescue of a mother pangolin and her newborn. The animals were found in poor condition and were immediately taken into custody for medical attention.
During the operation, officials also seized a quantity of tiger bones, which are believed to be linked to illegal wildlife trade. Six individuals present at the scene were detained for questioning.
The case has been registered under the Wildlife Protection Act, and further investigation is underway to trace the network behind the trafficking. No additional details have been disclosed at this stage.
The rescued pangolins are being handed over to the forest department’s wildlife care centre for rehabilitation and eventual release back into their natural habitat.
