The monsoon is expected to return to Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh within the next two days. Rajasthan, however, will have to wait for five more days.
The monsoon, which has been absent from Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh for some time, is expected to make a comeback within the next 48 hours. This development is likely to bring relief to the people of these states who have been experiencing hot and dry weather. On the other hand, Rajasthan will have to wait for a few more days for the monsoon to arrive. The India Meteorological Department has predicted that the monsoon will reach Rajasthan in about five days. In the meantime, a heavy rain alert has been issued for Puri, indicating that the region can expect significant rainfall in the next 24 hours.
