The much-anticipated arrival of the Southwest Monsoon in Madhya Pradesh has been delayed. According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon is now expected to reach the state sometime between June 21st and June 23rd.
Despite the delay in the monsoon's onset, pre-monsoon activities are reportedly intensifying across the region. These activities often bring localized rainfall and thunderstorms ahead of the main monsoon season.
Earlier, an alert for rain and thunderstorms was issued for 34 districts in Madhya Pradesh, indicating the ongoing impact of weather systems even before the monsoon's official arrival.
