Mohali science students confused over promotion rules as exams begin next week

Students enrolled in the science stream at senior secondary schools in Mohali are facing confusion over the criteria for promotion as the examination schedule for the next week approaches. The uncertainty arises from ambiguous guidelines released by the education authority, leaving many pupils unsure whether they will advance to the next class after the exams.

School officials have acknowledged the concerns and indicated that they are seeking clarification from the Punjab School Education Board. Parents and teachers have also raised questions about the impact of the unclear rules on students' academic planning.

Until definitive instructions are issued, students are preparing for the upcoming tests while awaiting a clear directive on promotion eligibility.
