A state-of-the-art market complex and adjoining park were officially opened in Cuttack, marking a significant urban development for the city.
Cuttack witnessed the launch of a new market complex alongside a public park, an initiative aimed at revitalising the city’s commercial and recreational landscape. The inauguration ceremony was attended by local officials who highlighted the project’s role in providing modern facilities for traders and a green space for residents.
The market complex features contemporary design, improved sanitation, and organized vendor stalls, addressing long‑standing concerns about infrastructure in traditional market areas. The adjoining park offers landscaped walkways, seating areas, and play zones, intended to enhance the quality of urban life.
Authorities expect the development to attract shoppers from surrounding neighborhoods, stimulate local businesses, and create employment opportunities, while also promoting a cleaner, more organized environment for daily commerce.
