Mizoram has recorded 71 fatalities due to Tuberculosis and detected 1,087 new cases of the disease since the beginning of the year.

The northeastern state of Mizoram has registered a significant number of Tuberculosis (TB) cases and deaths since January. Official figures indicate that a total of 1,087 individuals have been diagnosed with TB during this period.

Tragically, the disease has claimed the lives of 71 people in the state so far this year. These statistics highlight the ongoing challenge of combating TB in Mizoram and underscore the need for continued public health efforts and awareness campaigns.
