A newlywed woman disappeared from her in‑laws' house in Sikar, Rajasthan, three months after her wedding, with jewellery and cash worth lakhs also reported missing.
A newly married woman went missing from her in‑laws' residence in Sikar, Rajasthan, just three months after her wedding ceremony. The disappearance was reported on the night of August 22.
According to her husband, all family members had gone to sleep around midnight, and at approximately 4 a.m. he discovered that his wife was no longer in the bedroom where she had been staying.
The husband also informed authorities that jewellery and cash amounting to several lakhs rupees were missing from the house, suggesting a possible theft alongside the disappearance.
Local police have registered a missing‑person case and launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident, while questioning relatives and neighbours for any leads.
