Midnight Ice Truck Theft Attempt Foiled in Ganaj Colony, Sehore

Around midnight, residents of Ganaj Colony in Sehore stopped a suspect trying to steal an ice truck and handed him over to police, who are now interrogating him.
At approximately 12:00 a.m. on Tuesday, a disturbance was reported from Ganaj Colony in the town of Sehore, Madhya Pradesh, when an individual attempted to hijack an ice‑transport truck parked in the neighbourhood. The suspect’s noisy movements and the sound of high‑voltage equipment being tampered with alerted nearby residents.
A small crowd of locals quickly gathered, confronted the suspect and managed to restrain him before any theft could be completed. The group kept the individual under watch until law‑enforcement officers arrived at the scene.
Police from the Kotwali station took the suspect into custody, began preliminary questioning, and launched a formal investigation into the attempted theft. Authorities said the case is under active inquiry and further details will be released as they become available.
