The Indian Meteorological Department has indicated that Jammu and Kashmir will not experience any major weather changes until the end of the month, according to the Kashmir Observer.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a bulletin stating that the weather across Jammu and Kashmir is expected to remain largely unchanged until the end of the current month. The forecast, reported by the Kashmir Observer, rules out any significant shifts in temperature, precipitation or wind patterns during this period.
Authorities highlighted that the stable conditions should benefit ongoing agricultural activities, especially sowing and irrigation schedules, which are sensitive to sudden rains or cold snaps. Travel and tourism operators in the region have also been advised that road and air travel are unlikely to face weather‑related disruptions in the coming weeks.
While the outlook is calm, the IMD cautioned that the Himalayas can produce localized micro‑climates, and residents in higher altitude areas should remain vigilant for occasional fog or isolated showers. The department will continue to monitor atmospheric data and issue updates if any unexpected changes arise.
