A 44‑year‑old merchant, Kamal Vageela, died after his two‑wheeler collided with a metro construction divider on Aerodrome Road in Indore.

A two‑wheeler struck a concrete divider that has been installed for the ongoing metro project on Aerodrome Road, Indore. The impact left 44‑year‑old merchant Kamal Vageela seriously injured, and he was rushed to M.Y. Hospital for emergency care.

Vageela succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment at the hospital. Police officials confirmed that the victim was a local trader, but no further personal details were released.

Investigators have begun reviewing CCTV footage from nearby cameras to determine the exact circumstances that led to the collision. The probe aims to establish whether speed, vehicle condition or any other factor contributed to the fatal accident.

The metro construction, part of a larger urban‑transport initiative, has seen several temporary structures placed along the road. Authorities have urged commuters to exercise caution around these works as the city expands its public‑transport network.
