Meghalaya Health Minister A L Hek has acknowledged the central government's role in providing development packages and facilitating visits by union ministers to the state. He emphasized that the responsibility for implementing these initiatives now rests with the state government.

Meghalaya Health Minister A L Hek has attributed the arrival of numerous union ministers and substantial development packages to the state to the efforts of the central government. Hek highlighted that these visits and financial allocations are a result of the Centre's focus on Meghalaya's progress.

Speaking on the matter, Hek stated that while the central government has extended significant support, the onus of effective implementation of these packages now lies with the state administration. He indicated that the state needs to ensure these initiatives translate into tangible benefits for the people of Meghalaya.
