The Meghalaya government introduced an AI‑driven CM IMPACT guidebook aimed at streamlining policy implementation and citizen services.
Shillong, Meghalaya – The state government unveiled an artificial‑intelligence based CM IMPACT guidebook on Thursday, describing it as a tool to enhance decision‑making and service delivery across departments. The guidebook integrates data analytics, predictive modeling and real‑time feedback mechanisms to help officials track the impact of policies and programmes.
Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, accompanied by senior bureaucrats, demonstrated the platform’s features, highlighting its capacity to generate actionable insights for sectors such as health, education and infrastructure. The launch is part of the administration’s broader digital‑transformation agenda, which seeks to embed technology in everyday governance.
According to officials, the AI system will continuously learn from new data, allowing the government to adjust interventions promptly. Training sessions for department heads are scheduled over the next month to ensure smooth adoption.
The initiative follows similar digital projects in other northeastern states, positioning Meghalaya as an early adopter of AI tools in public administration.
