Meghalaya Finds 1.8L Errant Voters

The state of Meghalaya has undertaken an exercise to identify and remove errant voters from its electoral roll. As a result, nearly 1.8 lakh voters have been found to be either absent, shifted, deceased, or duplicate. This move is expected to improve the accuracy of the state's voter list. The identification process is part of the state's efforts to maintain the integrity of its electoral system.
