The streaming service ManoramaMax has announced the addition of two Malayalam releases, 'Aaru Anungal' and 'Kandan', now available for viewers across India.
ManoramaMax, the regional OTT platform operated by the Malayala Manorama group, has expanded its catalogue with two fresh Malayalam titles. The films, titled "Aaru Anungal" and "Kandan," are now live for streaming across the service's subscriber base.
Both releases were highlighted in a brief announcement on the Onmanorama portal, which confirmed their immediate availability on the platform. While detailed synopses were not provided, the titles are positioned as part of the service's ongoing effort to enrich its regional content offering.
The addition underscores ManoramaMax's strategy to attract Malayalam‑speaking audiences by regularly updating its library with new movies and series. Existing subscribers can access the titles through the app or website, and prospective viewers may consider a trial subscription to explore the new content.
Industry observers note that the move reflects the broader competition among Indian streaming services to secure exclusive regional titles, a trend that benefits both creators and viewers seeking local language entertainment.
