MANIT Bhopal and Laghhu Udyog Bharati have signed an agreement to move laboratory‑developed technologies to micro‑, small‑ and medium‑enterprises, while offering students internships and industry‑focused projects.
The Madhya Pradesh Institute of Technology (MANIT) in Bhopal and the industry body Laghhu Udyog Bharati recently concluded a formal agreement aimed at transferring research‑driven technologies from university laboratories to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The memorandum of understanding was signed in the presence of senior faculty members and representatives of the MSME sector, underscoring a shared commitment to bridge the gap between academic innovation and market application.
Under the pact, technologies that have been prototyped and validated in MANIT's labs will be made available to participating MSMEs for commercial development. The arrangement is expected to accelerate product development cycles for small manufacturers, giving them access to cutting‑edge solutions without the need for extensive in‑house R&D.
A key component of the collaboration is the creation of structured internship programmes and industry‑based project assignments for MANIT students.
