The Manipur government has introduced a Holistic Progress Card and a digital test management system as part of the National Education Policy 2020. The initiative aims to streamline student assessment and provide a comprehensive record of academic progress.

The state of Manipur has rolled out a new Holistic Progress Card (HPC) for students, accompanied by a digital test management system, in line with the National Education Policy 2020. The HPC is designed to capture a student’s academic performance, extracurricular achievements, and skill development milestones in a single, accessible format.

The digital platform will allow teachers and administrators to upload test results, monitor progress in real time, and generate reports that can be shared with parents and higher education institutions. Officials say the system will reduce paperwork and enable data‑driven decision making.

Education Minister R. R. Singh, who inaugurated the program, highlighted that the initiative will help bridge gaps in the current assessment framework and support inclusive education across the state. The launch was held at the state education department’s headquarters in Imphal.

The government plans to roll out the HPC across all government schools by the end of the academic year, with training sessions for teachers on how to use the new digital tools. The move is expected to align Manipur’s educational practices with national standards and improve transparency in student evaluation.
