The Manipur government has rolled out eight new land portals and a mobile application designed to digitise land records that are more than 50 years old.
The portals, accessible through the state’s official website, allow citizens to view property details, ownership history and transaction records online.
The accompanying app, available on Android and iOS, lets users upload documents, verify land titles and receive updates on pending applications.
Officials say the initiative will reduce paperwork, curb disputes and improve transparency in land administration.
