Manipur’s Home Minister has announced that steps are being taken to bring Kuki and Naga insurgent groups to the negotiating table following the surrender of the KCP-PWG.

In a statement released by the state’s Home Department, Home Minister Rajesh Kumar Singh said that the government is now actively working to bring other Kuki and Naga insurgent factions to the negotiating table.
The minister emphasized that engaging these groups in dialogue is a key step toward lasting peace and stability in the region, and that the government is prepared to offer a platform for constructive talks.
Officials also indicated that the next phase would involve consultations with community leaders and security agencies to design a comprehensive peace framework.
