A shocking incident has taken place in Hiera Pur village, Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh. Rupesh Markam, a resident of the village, has been arrested for the murder of his wife, Khelnabai Turkar, aged 53. According to the police, Markam committed the crime to cover the expenses incurred during his wife's recent childbirth. He then looted her gold jewelry to further his financial gain. The police have recovered the stolen jewelry and are investigating the matter further.
