Police in Muzaffarpur's Sikandarpur area have arrested a man accused of filming his wife while she bathed, threatening to circulate the video, forcing a year‑long sexual relationship and assaulting her when she resisted.
Muzaffarpur police, operating from the Sikandarpur police station jurisdiction, have taken a suspect into custody on charges of sexual coercion and physical assault. The accused was apprehended after a formal complaint was lodged by the victim, who alleged a prolonged pattern of abuse.
According to the investigation, the man recorded a video of his wife while she was bathing and later threatened to release the footage online. He is also accused of compelling her to maintain a sexual relationship for approximately twelve months.
