A man and his parents were taken into custody after police confirmed that the wife was beaten to death with an iron rod.
Three separate police reports were filed after the wife was found dead in her home. Investigations revealed that the victim had sustained multiple blunt‑force injuries consistent with an iron rod. The suspect, a 32‑year‑old resident of Delhi, was arrested along with his mother and father on charges of murder and cruelty to a spouse.
The police said the family had a history of domestic disputes, but no prior criminal record was found. The case is now being processed under the Indian Penal Code, with the court hearing scheduled for next month.
Law enforcement officials emphasized that the investigation is ongoing and that further evidence will be examined before any formal charges are filed.
