Major Tech Firm Partners with Government to Launch Free Robotics Training Centre for Polytechnic Students
A new free robotics and skill training centre, launched in collaboration with a leading technology company, aims to provide polytechnic students with global‑level employment opportunities.
A leading technology company has partnered with government polytechnic colleges to establish a free robotics and skill training centre aimed at enhancing employability for technical students. The initiative targets students enrolled in state‑run polytechnic institutes, offering them hands‑on experience with advanced robotics platforms and industry‑relevant curricula.
The training centre provides access to state‑of‑the‑art equipment, mentorship from industry experts, and certification that aligns with global standards. Participants will acquire practical skills in robot design, programming, and automation, preparing them for emerging job markets both within India and abroad.
Officials highlighted that the collaboration seeks to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry demand, positioning graduates for higher‑skill roles in manufacturing, logistics, and emerging technology sectors. The programme is offered at no cost to enrolled students, ensuring inclusive access across all participating polytechnic institutions.
The launch marks a significant step toward strengthening India's technical workforce and fostering innovation at the grassroots level, with expectations that the trained cohort will contribute to the country's growing automation and robotics ecosystem.
