Madhya Pradesh to Receive Challenger 3500 Jet for VIP Flights from October

The Madhya Pradesh government is set to acquire a Challenger 3500 business jet, expected to arrive in Bhopal by September. Valued at around ₹325 crore, the aircraft will be used for chief minister and VIP travel starting October.
The Madhya Pradesh government announced the impending arrival of a Challenger 3500 jet, a nine‑seater business aircraft capable of non‑stop flights from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.
Officials said the aircraft is expected to reach Bhopal airport in September and will involve an expenditure of approximately ₹325 crore.
From October onward, the jet will be deployed for the chief minister’s official tours and other VIP movements within the country.
The acquisition is part of the state’s efforts to enhance its air travel infrastructure for senior government functionaries.
