The monsoon season in Madhya Pradesh may conclude in the next two to three days, with rainfall 4% below the normal quota and eight districts expecting light showers.
Rainfall monitoring agencies report that the monsoon in Madhya Pradesh is set to finish within the next two to three days. To date, the state has received about 4% less rain than the seasonal quota, leaving 30 districts short of their targets.
Despite the overall deficit, the meteorological department has indicated that light showers will occur in eight districts over the next 24 hours. No heavy‑rain warnings have been issued for the period.
Officials say that the reduced rainfall and the approaching end of the monsoon could impact agricultural sowing plans, but they expect the short, localized showers to provide some relief to farmers in the affected districts.
The department will continue to monitor weather patterns and issue updates if conditions change.
