Bhopal, August 25 — Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav issued a directive to all departmental heads in Madhya Pradesh, emphasizing that routine public tasks must be finished within the prescribed time frames. The order seeks to pre‑empt citizen complaints by ensuring that service delivery is completed promptly.
The CM highlighted that many grievances currently reach the state helpline because of delays at the ground level. By addressing issues before they are escalated, officials can reduce the workload on the helpline and improve citizen satisfaction.
Departmental officers were asked to monitor progress daily, report any bottlenecks, and take corrective action immediately. The directive also calls for regular updates to the chief minister's office on the status of pending works.
State officials have been instructed to adopt a proactive approach, with the expectation that unresolved cases will decline sharply. The move aligns with the government's broader agenda of enhancing transparency and efficiency in public administration.
Implementation details will be reviewed in the upcoming quarterly performance review, and any non‑compliance may attract administrative action, the CM said.
