A new Murasu storm is expected to bring gusty rain across several districts of Madhya Pradesh, with daytime temperatures already falling to 8°C and further cooling forecast from the second week of November.

The state weather department reported that a fresh low‑pressure system named Murasu has moved into Madhya Pradesh, triggering strong winds and showers in multiple divisions. As of 5 November, daytime temperatures have already dropped to around 8 °C, a notable decline for early November.

Meteorologists forecast that the Murasu system will persist for the next four days, bringing intermittent rain and gusty conditions across the affected districts. Residents are advised to stay alert for sudden downpours and possible disruptions to outdoor activities.

Looking ahead, the forecast indicates a further dip in temperature from the second week of November, signalling a colder spell for the region. Authorities recommend that people dress warmly and take precautions against the cold, especially in rural and high‑altitude areas.
