The Madhya Pradesh government has transferred 23 IAS officers and replaced 11 district collectors, appointing Sukhbir Singh as Chief Secretary to the CM and Rashmi Arun Shami as ACS of the Health Department.

In a late‑night decision on Tuesday, the Madhya Pradesh administration announced a sweeping reshuffle of its civil services. A total of 23 Indian Administrative Service officers were transferred across various departments, with 11 district collectors reassigned to new posts. The move also saw Sukhbir Singh appointed as the Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister, while Rashmi Arun Shami was named Assistant Commissioner of State (ACS) in the Health Department. The reshuffle is part of the state’s efforts to streamline governance and improve administrative efficiency.
