During this year’s Sharadiya Navratri, the temple committee at Nalkheda’s Maa Bagulamukhi Temple will prohibit entry to the sanctum, eliminate VIP darshan and organize four parallel queues to serve devotees within roughly 30 minutes.
The management of Maa Bagulamukhi Temple in Nalkheda, Madhya Pradesh, announced a new visitor protocol for the ongoing Sharadiya Navratri. The committee has decided to discontinue the traditional VIP darshan, aiming to provide an equal worship experience for all pilgrims.
Under the revised plan, entry into the garbhagriha (inner sanctum) will be barred for everyone. Devotees will be directed to four separate queues that run simultaneously, allowing the temple to complete a full round of darshan in about half an hour per batch. This streamlined approach is intended to reduce waiting times and avoid crowding.
Officials said the move reflects a commitment to fairness and safety during the high‑traffic festival period. While some regular patrons expressed surprise at the change, the committee emphasized that the uniform system will ensure that no devotee is given preferential treatment, reinforcing the inclusive spirit of Navratri.
