The Luthra brothers, along with two others, surrendered to authorities in Goa following a Supreme Court setback in the investigation of a nightclub fire that caused multiple casualties.
The Luthra brothers, along with two other accused persons, turned themselves in to the Goa police on Tuesday after a recent setback by the Supreme Court in the case involving a deadly nightclub fire.
The fire, which broke out at a popular nightclub in Goa, had led to a large-scale investigation into alleged safety violations. The accused were believed to have been involved in the management of the club.
Earlier this month, the Supreme Court had directed a probe into the incident, but a recent decision by the court effectively paused the investigation, prompting the accused to surrender.
Police officials welcomed the surrender, stating that it would help expedite the ongoing legal proceedings and bring closure to the families affected by the tragedy.
