Members of the Bhakiyu Ugrahan group staged a firm sit‑in outside the Ludhiana Mini Secretariat on Tuesday, holding signs and chanting slogans demanding that local authorities address their grievances.
The protestors, numbering around fifty, called for immediate action on issues such as road repairs, water supply and the delay in the release of pending land allotments. They also demanded a meeting with the district administration to discuss their concerns.
Police officers were present at the site and maintained a calm atmosphere, allowing the demonstrators to speak freely. No clashes were reported and the protest is expected to continue until the demands are met.
