Lost shrub rediscovered after years in Assam

India Today reports that a shrub, which had been missing for an extended period, has been found again in the Indian state of Assam. The plant, previously presumed lost from its original habitat, was located during a recent field survey.

Botanists say the rediscovery highlights the resilience of local flora and underscores the importance of continued monitoring of Assam's diverse ecosystems. While details about the shrub's species and exact location remain limited, experts stress that such finds can provide valuable insights for conservation efforts.

Authorities and research institutions are expected to conduct further studies to assess the shrub's health and determine measures to protect it from future threats. The incident serves as a reminder of the hidden biodiversity that still exists in the region's forests and wetlands.
