After Pune lifted its monsoon restrictions, popular tourist spots in Lonavala have reopened, welcoming visitors back to the hill station.

On Thursday, the Pune Municipal Corporation announced the removal of monsoon restrictions that had been in place since the onset of heavy rains.
As a result, key attractions in Lonavala – including Lonavala Lake, Bhushi Dam and Lion's Point – have reopened to the public.
Officials have stated that safety protocols such as mask‑wearing and social distancing will continue to be enforced.
Tourism officials expect a surge in visitors, and local businesses hope the reopening will boost the economy of the hill station.
