Lokayukt Raid Uncovers Over ₹12 Crore Assets Belonging to Indore Constable

A Lokayukt team raided the residence and 14 other locations of a constable in Indore, uncovering assets worth over ₹12 crore, far exceeding his known income. The discovery has raised questions about unexplained wealth.
Lokayukt officials conducted raids at the residence of a pradhan rakshak (constable) in Indore and at 14 other locations linked to him. The operation was part of an anti-corruption drive to check disproportionate assets.
The raids revealed assets valued at over ₹12 crore, which included luxurious bungalows, land parcels and high-end vehicles. These assets were found to be far beyond the constable’s legitimate earnings.
According to the Lokayukt, the disclosed wealth amounts to 568 percent more than the constable’s known income, prompting a deeper investigation into the sources of the funds.
The seized properties have been taken into custody, and a detailed report is being prepared for possible legal action under anti-corruption laws.
