Lightning struck the dome of the 150-year-old Jaleshwar Nath Mahadev temple in Bihar's Darbhanga district, causing damage. Devotees present at the time narrowly escaped the incident.

The dome of the historic Jaleshwar Nath Mahadev temple, estimated to be 150 years old, sustained damage after being struck by lightning. The incident occurred in Horal Patti village, under the jurisdiction of Sarai-Hayaghat in Bihar's Darbhanga district.

According to initial reports, the lightning hit the temple's dome, causing a portion of it to be damaged. Fortunately, no devotees or temple staff were harmed during the event, as they were in a safe distance from the direct impact.

The temple, a significant religious site in the region, has stood for approximately a century and a half. The damage to its structure from the lightning strike is currently being assessed.
