Meteorological Department has forecasted light showers across seven districts today, potentially dampening the festive celebrations of Garba dancers during the final nights of Navratri.
The Meteorological Department has issued a weather bulletin predicting light rain across seven districts today. The forecast comes as the final nights of Navratri approach, when Garba revellers gather to dance in the streets and courtyards.
The light showers are expected to begin in the late morning and may continue into the evening, potentially soaking participants and dampening the festive atmosphere. Organisers of local Garba events have advised dancers to carry umbrellas and wear waterproof clothing.
While the rain is unlikely to be heavy, it could affect the quality of music and lighting setups used during the performances. Authorities have urged residents to stay updated on local weather alerts and to take precautions if they plan to attend outdoor celebrations.
