Land Dispute Resolved in Santapur Village Survey Numbers 144 and 164 Confirmed as Patta Lands in District-Level Survey

Rangareddy District: A long-standing land dispute concerning Survey Numbers 144 and 164 on the outskirts of Santapur village in Keshampet Mandal has finally been resolved, bringing relief to the local residents. Following a comprehensive survey conducted under the supervision of a district-level surveyor, the concerned lands were confirmed as patta (privately owned) lands, officials stated. Earlier, several surveys had been conducted at the mandal and divisional levels, but the dispute remained unresolved due to a lack of clarity regarding the land boundaries. In view of the continuing dispute, Keshampet Tahsildar Rajender Reddy took the initiative to bring the issue to the attention of higher authorities and arranged for a district-level survey. The district survey team conducted a detailed inspection of the land and examined the relevant land records and survey details. Subsequently, a formal panchnama (official record of proceedings) was conducted, the land boundaries were finalized, and boundary stones were installed at the designated locations. The village Sarpanch, ward members, village elders, and other local representatives participated in the proceedings. With the completion of the district-level survey and the installation of boundary stones, clarity has finally emerged regarding the ownership classification and boundaries of the disputed lands, marking a significant step towards resolving the long-pending issue in Santapur village.
