The Lal Hit Janta Party staged a Dussehra protest in Delhi, burning effigies of political figure Abhijeet Dipke and several others.
Delhi – On the Hindu festival of Dussehra, members of the Lal Hit Janta Party gathered in the capital and publicly burned effigies of Abhijeet Dipke along with a few other unnamed individuals. The act was carried out as part of a political demonstration, coinciding with the traditional burning of Ravana’s effigy that marks the holiday.
According to eyewitnesses, the party’s supporters set up a makeshift pyre near a public space in Delhi and lit the figures after a brief rally. No injuries were reported, and local authorities monitored the event but did not intervene as the activity remained peaceful.
The Lal Hit Janta Party has not released an official statement explaining the choice of targets, but the timing suggests an attempt to link its political message with the symbolic triumph of good over evil celebrated on Dussehra.
