A landslide in the Kurla area of Mumbai has killed two residents and left six others trapped beneath the debris.
At around 3 a.m. on Tuesday, a sudden landslide in the Kurla neighbourhood of Mumbai collapsed a portion of a residential building, burying two residents and trapping six others under the rubble.
Rescue teams from the Mumbai Municipal Corporation and the National Disaster Response Force rushed to the site, using shovels and hydraulic cutters to clear debris and locate survivors.
The police have cordoned off the area and are coordinating with medical teams to provide urgent care to the injured. The Mumbai Fire Brigade has also deployed heavy machinery to assist in the operation.
