The second day of nominations for the Kota Zila Parishad saw applications submitted for 19 wards across three designated centers.
Kota district officials opened the second day of the Zila Parishad nomination process on Tuesday, receiving applications for candidates contesting 19 wards. The nominations were collected at three government‑designated centers spread across the district to facilitate easy access for aspirants.
Each of the three centers recorded a steady flow of applicants, reflecting continued interest in local self‑government positions. The 19 wards cover a mix of urban and rural areas, and the submissions will be scrutinised by the district election officer to ensure compliance with the statutory requirements.
The nomination window remains open for a few more days, after which the final list of candidates will be published ahead of the upcoming Zila Parishad elections in Kota. Voters in the district will then have a clear roster of contenders for each ward.
