According to the victim, the assailant, identified as Ravi, had been following her for about two weeks before the incident. She alleged that he first confronted her with verbal abuse, escalated to a physical assault, and finally brandished a knife, inflicting injuries before fleeing the scene.
Local police have launched a manhunt, conducting raids in neighborhoods where the suspect was believed to be hiding. Officers have also filed a First Information Report (FIR) and are collecting forensic evidence from the crime scene to build a case.
